The Berlin based Estonian Arvo Pärt is one of the most important composers of the post-war era. His postmodern style is equally inspired by traditional as by new methods and has earned him the reputation of being a visionary. Tabula Rasa stands as one of his most widely-performed compositions, as well as a fine example of his mature style.
